Learners will understand how and why institutions are formed, maintained, and changed and how they influence (and are influenced by) individuals, groups, technological advances, and other institutions. This unit will allow students to compare religions as well as power, authority and the role of citizens in various systems of government in the Eastern Hemisphere.
