Our Mission
The Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) is the federal law that entitles a student with a disability (ages 3 through 21) to a free appropriate public education (FAPE). Special education services are designed to meet the needs of the student through an Individualized Education Plan (IEP) developed through a collaborative team process.
Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 prohibits discrimination on the basis of a disability. This applies to public schools and any entity receiving federal funding. Please contact your child's building principal if you have questions related to Section 504.
